What's the difference between satin and semi-gloss in paints ?


The main difference between Valspar's Satin and Semi-Gloss paints is the appearance, Semi-Gloss paints have a higher sheen than Satin paints do. Semi-Gloss paints also tend to be a bit more scrubbable than Stain sheens and are recommended for high traffic areas such as doors and trim.
