Get yourself some protective clothing whenever you need to protect yourself from messy paint jobs, heavy-duty cleaning tasks, or oil and other toxic chemicals. Full coverage protective clothing, like shoe covers and coveralls, can often be worn right over your regular clothes, and some can even be thrown away afterwards.

Coveralls cover nearly the whole body so you're protected from unexpected splashes and drips that might harm you or damage your clothes.
