The multi-stage filtration includes bio-balls and two filter pads that biologically and mechanically clean the water. The bio-balls promote the growth of beneficial bacteria aiding in filtration, while the coarse black filter catches large debris and the fine blue filter traps smaller particles. Compatible with smartpond 200-800-GPH pumps, this Pond Filter is easy to connect with stepped inlet and outlet adapters fitting ¾-in or 1-in ID tubing. Installation and maintenance are simple, requiring no tools, and the filter can be discreetly placed in and outside of your pond.
