Not suitable for homes with long haired pets

I simply will never recommend this vacuum to anyone. The price vs issues after one year of use is a scam. DON'T GET THIS VACUUM! I have owned it for a year and a half and am ready to chuck it. Really disappointed in newest model

What did I ever do before my Roomba ?

After a year of use I give it a hearty thumbs up.

I use the j7 in combination with a Brava Jet m6. They have done a fantastic job. The j7 just works the way it supposed to. The mapping feature allows it to efficiently vacuum any space. No more random bumping around. It's nice to program the whole house or just individual rooms and it just does what it's told to do. And it does it well. Dissatisfied

I bought the J7+ for two main reasons, the self-empty feature and that it received relatively high scores online for cleaning carpets. The self-empty feature is mostly good. The only problem I've had is that it will occasionally say the bag is full when it's only about half full. This requires that I remove the bag, jiggle it around a little, and put it back. I really enjoy my J7 Roomba. I have a two bedroom with all hard floors and no pets and the robot cleans really well. I'm going to talk about something in this review that may not have been talked about before. I'm a blind person so I can't read print. Outstanding for pet owners

I have had multiple prior robots trying to find the perfect robot that will be the most hassle free for our busy household with pets. I wanted a robot that did not require constant vigilance in dealing with the pet hair, would empty itself effectively and not require daily de-tangling of hair. It exceeds my expectations

I've been an owner many years of a 690 Roomba and the J7+ is a quantum leap. It's fun to watch as you see the learning process and how it avoids things like my dogs, power cords and other items in its path. The roller brush system stays very clean and its much more efficient than the old brush system. I find it easy to clean and maintain. No more light towers like the old units. Great vacuum

I have only had my iRobot ( we named Boo Boo.) for a couple of months. My house is definitely cleaner. I have a ranch with all LVT floors. With two cats that shed a lot, there was always cat fur and dust visible. Now with Boo Boo my floors always look good. We chose the J7+ because reviews said it was the best for pet hair.
