No control of flow
This spreader is not too bad but you can't control the flow of material from the spreader. The only way I could get the spreader to continue spreading material was to put a bungie cord on the control bar to keep the door open. Unfortunately that means material starts to flow immediately until I could get back on the machine and start moving which then leaves a big pile of material. It would be better if there was a way to control the flow from the seat of the machine

Great Product Despite a Few Missing Parts
i liked the packaging and now that it is fully assembled the product itself. That said some of the parts were either missing or not workable (e.g. the 5/16th washers were too small and required a trip to the hardware store) and the assembly instructions were not complete (no mention of assembling the knob)

I like everything about this product except assembly instructions of open/close lever. I used common sense to assemble as diagram was vague at best. Need more details.

Can this be calibrated to spread red ant bait like amdro at just 1.5 lbs/acre? Or is this better for seed and fertilizer?
