Using a higher-frequency capacitive circuit, it delivers greater accuracy than traditional scoop-type testers and features both a simple basic mode and an advanced precision calibration mode that can be adjusted to match local elevator or tabletop instruments. The tester provides direct digital readouts with averaging of multiple tests, a backlit multilingual display for clear visibility in any conditions, and moisture ranges of 7%–40% for green coffee, 8%–40% for parchment coffee, and 4%–20% for cocoa. With a temperature range of 32°F to 113°F (0°C to 45°C), ±0.5% accuracy and repeatability in the normal stored range, and 0.1% display resolution, it is powered by two 9V batteries (not included) and is ideal for field or warehouse use during harvesting, processing, and storage.
