I used these inside couplings to repair a washing machine drain pipe that was cut during some masonry work. By using these, I was able to reconnect the two exterior pipes without the need to go into a finished interior wall. Although the couplings slightly reduced the two inch pipe's inside diameter, the drain still worked properly when the washer drained and there were no backup issues.
