Wm Zinsser Prime Seal is a heavy-bodied, water-based, high-hiding interior primer developed for general-purpose and professional use. It delivers quick dry, universal adhesion, and effective stain-blocking to hide bright colors and patterns. The formula flows smoothly and levels to a flat, easy-to-sand finish that provides an excellent base for latex and oil-based topcoats.Recommended for new or previously painted drywall, wood, cured plaster, metal doors, galvanized metal, concrete/masonry, and stucco, Prime Seal primes walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and paneling. It sands easily in about 1 hour and the primed surface is ready to recoat in 1 hour.Apply by brush, roller, or airless spray with a .017 inch tip at 20002500 PSI. Coverage is approximately 400 sq ft per gallon depending on surface porosity. The white base is tintable with up to 2 oz of universal colorant per gallon, and cleanup is with warm water and liquid detergent.
