Zinsser Bulls Eye Interior/Exterior Multi-purpose Water-based Wall and Ceiling Primer ( 1-gallon )

Three times had to get diff e Ed my can of paint for they were full of big chunks that would not mix properly even when stirred or shook. Not happy at all

Great primer!

I used this to prime my ceiling after popcorn removal. It adhered to the joint compound I used. It is somewhat thicker than regular paint and it covers and hides imperfection well. No strong smell. The second time I used this was to cover an old wallpaper. I tried removing a part of the wallpaper but it was hard even with a wallpaper steamer so I decided to paint over it. The wallpaper was a very dark blue with floral prints on it. I applied two coats of this primer to totally hide the wallpape...

Primer peeled despite prepping properly

I used this primer to prime stained trim with clear coat on it to ready it for paint. I thought I hit the jackpot, "no need for sanding or deglossing". I followed the necessary steps of cleaning the trim before adding the primer. I painted the primer on and let it dry for about 12 hours. Then I added the top coat. This is where things started going wrong. As the top coat dried the primer started to peel. Why did this happen? When it came to priming the walls this product did an excellant job...

Refresh Popcorn Ceiling

Popcorn ceiling in kitchen with about 420 sq. feet of ceiling was stained and needing cleaning. After vacuuming and taking care to reduce knocking down the particles, it was still unsightly after 27 years so I decided to go with Zinsser 123plus. I used 2 coats mostly with a Wooster Brush R234-9 Popcorn Acoustical Roller Cover, 9/16-Inch Nap, 9-Inch. Worthless!

Poor coverage. Three coats wouldn't cover over a light white paint with ink drawings. Covers spotty with a semi gloss/ satin sheen...exactly what you don't want (draws attention to defects). Better coverage with Kilz. Waste of money.

Great Recommendation!

The employee at the paint department was so helpful in recommending this product. We are covering paneling in our home and this does the job very nicely. After painting, the room looks great!

Great for covering stains before painting

I use this stuff on everything around the house before I paint. Works great, and sticks to surfaces that are not perfectly clean much better than just paint (but clean your surface to be painted of course), and it does a good job of making uncleanable stains disappear under the new paint.

Works really well and covers red marks after just.

My grandson got a hold of a red permanent marker and decided to create some of his fine art work on my walls. I purchased this product from Lowe’s and applied two coats over my grandsons art work and it was gone. This product works great.
