This is a great mower for what it does. No self-propelled and once you set the wheels leave them be. All you people complaining should read the description before you commit to buy. 3 hp lawnmower will outlast your ungrateful children who you expect to cut your lawn. Shame on you suckers who don’t want to read before buying, it’s on you dummies

I didn't think they still made mowers with a 3hp engine anymore. I will admit the wheel height can be a pain in the rear, but once set, it's set. My advice is to open it at the store, just to save you a trip back, lowes may not like it, but who cares, lowes works for you, not the other way around.

Great, lightweight mower for open spaces.

I had a Yard Machine mower for 10 yrs, before this one. It served me very well. The old one was a heavier, upgraded model, with rear discharge that covered my pants with grass clippings. The new, stripped down model is lighter, with a side discharge that does not blow cippings on to me. However, it will not get as close to obstacles, or into narrow places like the rear discharge machines.
