Don’t buy for Auto Unlock
There are a number of ways the Yale lock provides entry. The most interesting to me was Auto Unlock. Sounded too good to be true that you just drive up and a certain door would unlock. It was too good to be true. The function hardly ever works right. I’ve spent hours. I ended up leaning further into the Apple HomeKit and that was unreliable also. Then I bought Apple HomePod mini and that stabilized it. Works fine now, but the Auto Unlock big waste.

Finicky fingerprint touchpad
The touchpad is finicky. When it was a button, one click would lock the door. But now the touch pad tries to unlock and another touch needed to lock. It’s also takes a second or two to register so not as fast. I should have gotten the regular lock.

Doesn't work with wifi, and it drains batteries
I'm disappointed in the product. The lock would not connect to my 5G internet, and so I separated my 5G and 2G signal, so that I could connect the lock to the 2G, but it still wouldn't connect. It spent so much battery searching for a signal, that it drained the batteries quickly, and I had to change batteries literally every 2 to 5 days, which certainly isn't practical or cost-effective. So I completely disconnected it from my wifi and used the keypad and finger print only, which works well. ...

Great lock with a nice look
I've had my lock now for about six months and I love it. It was super easy to install and looks really great and modern. I like that it's an all in one device versus a separate keypad from the lock. Mine never gets stuck when trying to lock or unlock. The only downfall that I've started noticing is that the notifications of when the door is opened or left opened for a while, comes slightly delayed to my phone now but outside of that the app integration is awesome.

Love it but can't get them keyed alike
I really like the function of these locks. Before I purchased my second one I asked if I could purchase it to be keyed like the first and was told no. I'd really like to purchase a third but need to find a way to have all 3 keyed alike. Otherwise, my rating would be 5 stars.

A fan of Yale Door locks
Straight forward installation. Smooth operation. Programming slightly complicated between app and keypad—still unable to program with Apple Home, but works smoothly with the Yale app.

Great lock
[Employee of yalehome] I like this lock. It is the 2nd yale lock we've purchased. Easy to install; works well. Intergration with smart home apps is great.

Good replacement for a failed ultraloq
Bought this to replace a failed electronics module/fingerprint sensor on a competitor's (Ultraloq) product, and it's worked well so far.
