ok but not great

I bought this to use up some gift certificates. the construction is ok, looks sturdy enough (just got it and haven't gotten it completely mounted yet). while mounting it on my bench, i found that the 2 front holes for mounting you could not place a nut on the bolt. casted holes were too close to the front of the mount. I won't use the screws to mount to the bottom of my bench because they will not be sturdy/strong enough. so now, i'm modifying the base front hole mounts to hopefully get my carri...

This is a really cool vise. I made a cherry butcher-block workbench and scabbed this on the end of it. This transformed a work SURFACE into a Workbench. A+ item, but make sure to catch it on sale, the regular price is a little too steep, IMHO.
