Perfect/NO leaks/Great tasting water
Now going on three years. No drips, No drops, just great filtered clean water going to my ice maker.

Easy Change
This is my second filter and has never leaked. I purchased this in 2016 Just realized today I never changed it. I will today.

Works as advertised
Works great no leaks! Not a drop after 2 years. Tubing must be cut smooth and square with razor to keep tubing shape. Also wouldn't hurt to support tubing in some fashion so that the fitting isn't supporting the weight of the water line. I used duct tape.

Fresh Water
Haven't installed this item yet, but will in the next few days... I am sure it will work just fine.. If I have a problem with it, I know Lowes will stand behind whatever they sell..
Like the ease of changing and the performance of the filter.
WORKS THE WAY IT SHOULD
Not sure why all of those had such leak problems but have had mine a little over a year with no problems does the job
Great Inline Water Fridge Filter
I purchased this unit in store after ordering a new Refrigerator that didn't come supplied with one. This filter unit is fairly easy to install,just take your time and follow instructions. I bought a small tubing cutter to cut Pex line, I believe this may be the reason people are having problems with leaks. I had none at all and even added a 1/4" shut-off valve next to the inlet for easier filter changes. I attached the filter housing with heavy duty Velcro to the back of fridge and coiled unuse...
Simple Install
Followed the instructions as printed, but found that pushing the sleeves in toward the housing while installing the tubing helped seat them resulting in zero leaks.
Could not stop leaking
The installation went smoothly at first - the 1/4" tube snapped right in and fit perfectly on one side and didn't leak, but the other side would not stop dripping no matter how many times I tried re-cutting the tube to try and create a better fit. Had to purchase an entirely different filter.
