Never worked!
I got the dehumidifier, unpacked it , followed all the directions, plugged it in, and it never worked… The sensor for bucket full would never turn off. I called the helpline, I did everything they recommended, but it was broken from the start. So I had to pack it all back up again, and haul it off to my local Lowe’s for a refund. Pump is LOUD, don't spend the extra money for it.
I read the comments about the pump being a bit noisy/loud, but I did not expect it to be anywhere close to what it is. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but when it's in the "pump" mode, it still fills up the reservoir as well. So really glad I spent the extra money for that SMH. I just have to dump it once a day. It seems to be doing an ok job, but I should've gone with the bigger unit(I thought I bought the bigger one but got this).

Prepare to be disappointed
No handle on bucket to aid in carrying and emptying. Clearly there is a place for one but they only put a $0.10 piece of plastic on the largest capacity unit. However there is a completely superfluous plastic insert in the bucket whose only function is to take up space and serve as packing material. Disappointing design. Whirlpool supposedly makes 80% of appliances in US, but not this one.
