backup for well pump

Easy to use holding up
I had to order this after Hurricane Helene came through and killed the power to our house. We had a large amount of food in 2 deep freezers and also the fridge. We wanted to be ready if the winter did turn bad here and it freezes and we lose power. The generator is very easy to put together suggest up on a table I use the bed of my truck it's just easier. Easy to setup.
I received this generator and found that all I had to do was to add the wheels (easy with a washer, a post and a cotter pin), bolt on the 'feet' and add the oil. Nice and easy. Note: The User Manual could use some updated information. #1 They direct you to unscrew the 'red' and the 'black' screw on the battery, then reinsert it with the actual 'red' or 'black' wire. Perfect Size
I purchased this to replace a much older and smaller capacity unit because I added a house connection. My old unit was only 3200watt so wanted something double that capacity. The 6000 continuous watt capacity should be more than needed. Easy to assemble, added oil and gas, connected the battery and it started right up. Just purchased our unit and have set it up and run a few (20-40 minute) test runs. Findings so far are: - The manual pull start was easier than expected. - Starting with the electric starter required a little bit of adjustment to the choke but worked well. - There is noise (as expected) maybe a little more than a lawnmower but placing the unit wisely can help reduce the annoyance of that aspect of any generator. - During the test runs the generator appeared to consume a little more than 1/2...

So Far,So Good
Just received the WGen6000 today,package had a hole with oil leaking out, after getting it unboxed it was just a loose oil cap no biggie, filled with the oil provided add some gas, connected the battery connectors, turned on the fuel, pushed the electric start and it turned over only a couple times and fired right up, ran it for about 25 minutes with a fridge plugged in a ,worked like a champ. Will be putting it through the real test in a couple days on the food trailer. So far so good 👍
