Bad clamping system

Bought 18 months ago. Barely worked on an 93 Chevy 1500, doesn't work whatsoever on new Ford f150. The bracket that clamps under the bed rail cases this to not sit snug against the side of the bed rail. It caused the weight bearing part to only sit 2/3 on the Chevy with no bed liner. Having a bed liner on the new truck, less than half of the plate rests on the bed rail. It looks horrible and there is no way I would trust this to hold any weight.

The TR 701a is not supported by replacement parts. BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Perfect product

Great product. Handles all my ladders with no problem. Strapping is not a challenge. Great product!!!!!

Misleading description of compatibility

Promotional description states "fits most full size and compact pick-up trucks ". Hmmm. Toyota Tacoma has the highest sales of any compact pickups, but it doesn't fit it. There is no list with the rack to say what it fits and what it doesn't. I bought the rack and spent almost 3 hours assembling it only to get to the stage of attaching it to the truck when I ran into trouble. Then I started to dig into tutorials to help me troubleshoot installation, only to discover deep into page 3 of customer ...

Don't do it

Parts loosen consistently and fall off truck without any pressure (no ladder even on). Don't waste your time

Sturdy rack, missing end cap out of the box :(

I've had this rack brand new in the box for a few months before I finally got around to installing it today. I opened it, put it mostly together and then when I got to the end cap part I noticed they only included 3 out of 4 end caps. Which is pretty disappointing. Like I said, it's a sturdy rack once it's all bolted together. I would really appreciate a response about how to go about getting the missing end cap.
