Bad scraper!

I wish I had read the reviews before buying this piece of garbage. The blade holder design is poor, no, it's really bad. It doesn't hold the blade flat, the blade is not secure and the angle of attack is too high for scraping paint from wood. It has two little tabs that hold the blade. These tend to put a bow in the blade that makes the corners gouge into wood being scraped. It might be ok for removing stickers from glass, but not my purpose. Use this scraper all the time!

Started my own cleaning business this year and use this scraper ALL the time! I have seen comments about the blade not being secure, but I have never had a problem at all and find it super easy to use. I keep it in my pocket and pull it out numerous times a day to take off all sorts of gunk on floors, windows, tables, you name it. It is just a really handy little scraper. I got several of these scrapers to use as stocking stuffers!

Terrible design

I really wanted to like this. I like the plastic handle. It fits nice in my hand. My hand doesnt get as sweaty using this one compared to the all metal ones. Changing the blade is terrible. There is nothing to lock the blade in place. You literally just lay it on a tiny pin and then retract the razor. Another razor blade scraper I have you slide it into place (into a channel). Not this one. The blade is not secure at all. It keeps popping out. I threw the whole thing away.

On a positive note, the rubberized grip is comfortable to hold but the scraper suffers from a serious design flaw. Unlike other similar scrapers where the blade slips into a groove, the blade in this Warner scraper is held in place by two "prongs" that slip into grooves on the sides of the blade. While that makes for easy blade changes, if you over-extend the blade, which is easy to do, the blade will fall out. Pretty inconvenient if you are, say, at the top of a ladder. Absolute garbage

As many other reviewers have said, this thing is garbage: - The blade has a bit of play even when fully inserted. - The blade is loose and randomly pops out. - The blade often won't stay flat against the surface I'm scraping because it's loose. And the big one: - The construction is garbage. If you apply the slightest bit of pressure, the plastic chips away from the handle (see photo). I'm going to see if they'll take it back so I can find a better one.

I've come to the point with Lowe's, I stick to buying only certain products (lumber, paint & chemicals, etc.) and tools isn't one of those products. The reason? Most of the tools are overpriced trash (Kobalt and Dewalt immediately 0ally settled. Then one day I went to use the scraper and it just broke.

Horrible scraper

I normally don't leave horrible reviews but this product is garbage. From the way you put the blade in and retract it, the blade still "jiggles" in the unit. So as you scrape paint or whatever you want, the blade will move back and forth as you scrape. This is so annoying when you are trying to get close to an edge and the blade pushes back and you push the unit forward. This is a cheap tool that should not even be sold. It's horrible.
