Have been using this product for over a year. We use it in soil additions to our gardens, or used to fill the holes for plant transplants. We have seen good results with the soil we add this product to. It acts as a medium to store water and nutrients that your plants can draw on when there's not enough in the surrounding soil. Do NOT use this without first "priming" it with nutrients and microbes. Otherwise, it will suck nutrients out of the soil, and actually harm your plants. I do this...

Great stuff
