Stronger design
It works way better than the old one. Having the screw in the bottom of the handle makes it tougher.

Good quality and easy installation.
I purchased this product (2) for use on my father's house. The new screen doors that I recently installed (also purchased at Lowe's) did not have a way to unlock them from the outside without destroying the screen to manipulate the locking mechanism on the inside. The new keyed door latches look great and were a snap to install. They use the same 1 3/4" hole spacing that the original latches required and the new latches can also be used on doors of varying thicknesses. My only complaint, and it ...
