But we wanted to kick it up a notch and see if we could make one that runs longer and is even stronger. So our Worx engineers packed 725 psi into the Hydroshot ULTRA—and doubled its runtime. That’s more than twice the water pressure of the standard Hydroshot, and a full 275 psi stronger than the next most powerful model. And with two Power Share batteries supplying the juice (not included), it lasts much longer than its 20V siblings before needing a recharge. Yet it’s still ultra-portable, at only 9.1 lbs, so almost anyone can spray down the siding on the house, then bring it around front to the driveway to blast the mud off the SUV. The brushless motor and new pressure hose with pump and cable combine for a hyper-efficient stream that draws just 1.1 gpm (gallons per minute) of water. The Hydroshot ULTRA boasts 797.5 total CU (Cleaning Units), as a matter of fact. What are those? That’s how the pressure washing industry rates the effectiveness of its products. And 797 is an awfully high score, especially when it’s coming from something that’s as portable and easy to carry as the Hydroshot. This version of the Hyrdoshot ULTRA doesn’t come with the two 20V Power Share batteries required to operate it, but that’s by design. It’s less expensive than the model that does come with batteries and a charger and is meant for users already on the Power Share platform, and have 20V batteries at home they can use. It’s a great way to cut costs when you can use the same batteries across an entire tool collection.
