The Harvest Company Rubber Mulch for Landscape and Playground 1.5 -cu ft No Dye / Natural Rubber Rubber Mulch

Black and White Rubber Mulch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rubber mulch from Viagrow is okay. It’s not quite what I was expecting. The mulch was shipped in a plain clear bag with no branding or information whatsoever. The rubber mulch was black, but the way it is shredded leaves a ton of white edges and threads showing, so it’s definitely not solid black. The rubber was soft though which was good, and it didn’t have any smell or odor to it.

Great versatility!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mulch has been a great addition to our landscape. You can see from the before/after photos how much nicer the area looks. The color is a deep black that creates a nice contrast with the lawn. Even after a few weeks in the southern heat and humidity, it still looks great! It sees very durable and I love that it’s rubbery instead of sharp. I don’t worry about little ones playing or even falling on it as it’s unlikely to scrape or hurt them.

Very nice curb appeal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems really durable and I like that it is recycled. The texture is noticeable that it is shredded tires and my boyfriend thinks that is pretty cool. In the bag the appearance is off putting but actually around the tree looks really good. The regular wood mulch doesn’t last and I think this will hold up very well. So I didn’t give 5 stars just because it’s kind of stringy. But around trees and from a distance I think it gives nice curb appeal.

Obsessed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are in the middle of making our kids a play area so I will update my photo when we have that done. But I did open the package and couldn’t be more impressed. Right away can tell that it will last for a longtime. There is little to no odor or dust! And the color is exactly what we have already with a different playground mulch. Mostly I love how non toxic this one is because I have two wild little boys that are always barefoot or grabbing ...

Not sure I like the look of this “mulch”

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Soooo I’m not sure how I feel about the look of this mulch! I got this product for free and not sure I’d buy myself because I have dogs that love eating plastic like material. So I can’t lay in my flower beds, but after looking at it, I’d be nervous if I fully committed if I’d like the stringy look. So ultimately undecided.

Recycled and kid safe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty good mulch! I love that it's recycled and giving things a second life! The packaging is the same as any other mulch, so pretty easy to install. It spreads very nicely so it's super quick to put down as well. No strong smell or anything like I expected. I like that this one has no dye. I used it in the kids' play area, and I don't have to worry about it staining anything. Kinda pricey , but I'd use it again!

Will be getting more for sure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stuff is great much more than I expected. There is a rubber smell when youre up next to it but from standing no smell. Covers and spreads really well and i dont see any plants or anything being able to break threw.

Looks great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stuff was super easy to put down and looks fantastic! It seems like it will hold up very well compared to others I’ve used. And it’s so much safer for my child to play on compared to real mulch. It’s the perfect size and keeps bugs away. I’ve already purchased more for other places in my yard!
