Not satisfied with the after sales.

We have two hose reels, both purchased in May of 2025. One of the hose sprung multiple leaks. The webbing inside is broken and the outer layer developed small blow outs and pin holes with water visible through the outer layer. We called to buy a replacement hose. It is not serviceable. The agent told us it was under a two year warranty and asked for a photo. The determination was external forces not covered under warranty. The Vego retractable hose is much easier to manage than the wind up hose reel we use to have. It stows conveniently off the ground and swivels to let me extend it towards any area of the landscaping that I wish to water. It eliminates tripping hazards that were always present with the hose laying on the sidewalk.

Great quality - very happy with them

We purchased two of these - mounted one in the garage and one on a pole outside. Both have worked wonderfully and I need to utilize almost the full length. No issues retracting, they make things so easy! We mounted ours a little higher than normal to allow the hose to clear some landscaping and it is working well.

Makes clean up easy

My only gripe was the installation did not go smoothly. The bolts were very difficult to install and I had to buy an impact drill in order to do that, with a specialized attachment. Breaks within a Year

Loved how tidy this unit looks but within a year, plastic parts started flying off the nozzle and as I’m unable to unscrew the nozzle/ sprayer from the hose (even with clamps), the whole thing is unusable. While I love all my Vego garden planters, this hose reel was a costly purchase to have started breaking down after not even one year. Very disappointing.

Worth Every Penny

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never saw myself reaching the age/lifestyle where a retractable hose would bring me this much joy, but here we are! This hose is perfect for all the things, but I mostly love it because I'm not tripping over anything in my garden anymore. Only thing that hasn't stood the test of time is the nozzle/sprayer, which started leaking a few weeks in.
