No smell and dries even quicker than they said

Our son bought a complete fixer. Bought them the poly as a house present. Went on smooth. Dried quickly. No smell. Easy to apply and clean up. Needed 6 coats. We love the water based poly.

Varathane Floor Finish

I've used Varathane Satin on all of the hardwood floors in my house. I've used it on two church rehab home projects. I also use it on hand-made and refinished furniture projects. So far, it is on three farmhouse tables, a large icebox stereo cabinet, a dry sink, a drop-leaf table, a kitchen table, and two china cabinets. The product is very forgiving during application. It is extremely durable. I've recommended it to all of my friends who finish wood.

Wish the price was a little less.

Great product, I was able to spray out of my cup gun on the trim and base around my house. Dries fast, Light coats! Scuff lightly in between coats.

Polyurethane

To early to tell how long this will last as applied. The third coat dried for a full and I painted walls on the fourth. Of course the latex paint spilled; wiped it up and peeled some I missed right off the floor with no mess.

Excellent product.

Had never done a whole floor before this and I actually followed the directions on the can. Product went on and acted exactly as described and it dried fast so the job took fewer days than planned. Outcome was beyond expectations.

Works Great

I own a 100 year old house with original plank floors. After sanding down both the living room and dining room floors I needed to put a finishing coat on them. Varathane was recommended by a friend. I love that it was almost odorless. I applied the recommended four coats and am extremely pleased with the look. I refinished hard maple floors that were installed by my father 62 years ago when he built this house. They have been covered with carpeting for over 50 years. I used Varathane with a satin finish.
