Valspar Woolen Stocking Oil-Based Paint (12-oz)

can't find the spray pain

I used Color Radiance Flat Blindfold to paint 3 shelves. I returned to Lowes to purchase another. Found that Lowes no longer carries Valspar spray paint. WTH????? I've checked everywhere I can think of with no results. Valspar.....Help!!!!!!!

Goes on and looks great

I bought 4 cans of Color Radiance "Flat", perhaps; VAL86001 Flat Black, months ago for painting wheels for my car. While cleaning and prepping the wheels I didn't notice one was bent until I was nearly done painting that last bent wheel. The paint looks great but when I went back to Lowe's for a spare can or two or three...they no longer have it. I have two spare wheels I hoped to paint with the same paint so they all match when I replace the bent wheel for one of my newly painted spare wheels.....

Excellent product

I bought this product from Lowe's to hide a glue repair done to a large photo frame. It worked beautifully with a smooth surface and even coverage. I had some leftover and today used it to repurpose and give some color to a wicker basket that will hold beach towels. The basket needs a 2nd coat and sadly, I cannot find this product anywhere anymore! Such a great product, I don't understand why it would be discontinued. Will now have to start over with an inferior product.

really tough

I used satin sumptuous purple YEARS ago on a couple of plastic beach chairs hoping to get maybe another season of use out of them. But the color has lasted about 5 years! These are out by the pool every day all year in the south Florida sun, and with the weather they now look like purple velvet. BUT! I wanted to stock up on more of this paint for when they need another coat, and I CAN'T FIND IT!! BUMMER!

product WAS great

thought i had finally found a great product. sprayed smooth with no spray clumps from those awful valves of other brands. Loved this product as many others did and was also extremely disappointed when i went to purchase this product again and after not being able to find it in any stores or online found out it was discontinued. now i have half finish items that i will have to spend more money on to redo them and hopefully layering a different brand will not cause peeling, cracking or ruin my ite...

AWFUL

So I bought this to do a small project. The can says it will work on plastic. The plastic is porous. Yeah, no! It chips off horribly and sticks to anything I set it on. This project has turned into a nightmare thanks to this garabage. I do no reommend and thanks to this experience, I will never purchase Valspar products ever again. My mom started a more difficult project on a questionable surface days after I did and hers was complete in 2 days. I'm on a week trying to touch up this garb...

love it!!!!

Bought this spray paint to paint mason jars for several different things and everything has turned out beautiful and has lasted. I lightly speayed two coats as i wanted to distress it also.

My husband used this spray paint on an old wooden bathroom wall cabinet. It is gorgeous. I would highly recommend this product.

Good coverage

No problem with sprayer. Good color-satin-blueberry. However, unless the can is constantly shook, the color shading dries noticeably different. Luckily I had purchased extra paint. So, no. It is not 1 coat coverage even without the shading problem & I would not use this again.

Worst Spray nozzle ever

Just used 3 cans of flat black and one can of clear primer for plastic. Barely able to finish project. Incredibly hard to keep nozzle depressed, and every time I shook the can I got paint splatter all over. Paint was fine, but will never ever use this nozzle design again.
