Great paint for the price.

This paint covers well. I painted a darker color over a lighter color. 2 coats but might have been able to do one but because of the heavy textured walls I could see the undercoat in spots but this paint is thicker. I painted in flat base but has a little sheen that I don't like. I have used ultra a few times and it is an true flat. Sales claims that because of the light sheen it is more durable. I will stick with ultra in future, but this paint covers and looks great.

Paint looks great on the walls, seems to be durable to far. 1.5 gallons covered 11 x 14 room.

It doesn't stick to the wall

I've painted with Valspar for over 30 yrs and recently have found the new paint won't stick to anything. I've used Frog tape to mask the wall when painting trim, and the tape pulls the paint off the wall that was pointed 2 yrs ago. I just painted a brand new ceiling that was primed with new drywall sealer primer, and the paint won't stick to the primer. I'll NEVER buy Valspar paint again! Sherwin Williams paint is of much better quality and finish.
