Horrible Quality Paint
I've been a Valspar fan for years. Using their paint for many projects and always pleased. This was the first time using their cabinet paint product and I must say I was highly disappointed. I prepped the cabinet doors by sanding down to the wood the cleaning with a tack cloth and priming (even though it says that's not needed on the label). I then applied a first coat in a dust free and climate controlled environment using a micro fiber roller and high end quality brush for the edges. I wa...
Great on new wood furniture
I used this product on a dog crate and table I built. Despite the fact my dog scratches to open the door on his new cage the paint is holding up remarkably well. I’ve only used this on fresh, new wood and would recommend
absolute garbage
Even after stirring this paint thoroughly it streaked with one roller another roller didn't lay down a flat coat and with a quality brush it streaked real bad. Don't buy.
Excellent Cabinet Paint
I refurbished three bathrooms. I used this paint to refinish the cabinetry in both. Excellent to work with. Thick, easy tp apply, and covers blemishes. Cleanup is a breeze. I am very pleased the Valspar Cabinet and Furniture paint.
Way too thin and runny.
This paint, if I can call it that, is entirely too thin and difficult to even apply with a roller, and a brush wouldn't be much better. Person at Lowe's in the paint department was very unhelpful beyond pointing in the general direction, couldn't be bothered to pause stocking his shelf.
Did not match

Prep is needed!
Contrary to how the label may SEEM you still need to prep surface. The paint is a good thickness but has a bit of a smell to it. Work in a well ventilated area, wear a mask while sanding previous finish (if any) and READ THE SMALL PRINT. Dry time was pretty fast (even for humid weather) and the finish was smooth with a roller. The brush still left some stroke marks. Time will tell about durability or scratches.
Thank you for reviewing the Cabinet Enamel Interior Paint. This product has an Alkyd-Acrylic Hybrid base, so you should experience low odor. If you w...
Service
Person mixing paint was very helpful finding the right product!
Do not buy
This paint is complete garbage. First of all it took two coats of paint to cover, when it’s supposed to have primer built it. SECOND IT CHIPS AS SOON AS YOU BUMP IT!!!! WHAT A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY!!!!
