Stain already flaking

Stain on pool deck already coming off before the first season. This is PAINT, NOT STAIN. Stain should not be flaking. Applied in September. Took the pool cover off in June, which was covering the stain. And now the stain in coming off with minimal water. Applied following all instructions and with multiple coats. Now have a huge mess. Complete waste.

Make sure you are given the correct color,

The product performed as expected but I was given the wrong color and I did not know it until I had applied half of it to the floor and the ones who had picked the color told me it was the wrong paint but the can had the correct color written on the top of the bucket

Worst product ever I used

First, let me say Ive been in construction for 60 years. I read reviews for the Valspar solid concrete stain and see good and bad reviews. I've used Valspar paints for years and nit had any problems. I bought solid stain for my garage slab. I followed the instructions to the "T" as the saying goes, washing & moping the 900 s.f. slab, followed by etching and rinsing, then squeeging and allowing the slab to dry. I then applied the stain. Misleading junk

This product is not a stain at all. Stain penetrates into whatever material you are applying it to. This is a paint that peels up even after you follow the directions to a T. Valspar should be very disappointed in themselves for the prep and time their customers devote to their projects only to be ruined by a misleading sub par product. Thank you guys for costing me more time and money...

More of a paint

This really shouldn't be considered a stain. Maybe it is technically, but it looks like latex house paint on your concrete, not like stained concrete.

Terrible Product

I purchased Valspar Solid Color Concrete Stain, base 4 tinted in a dark color. I followed every step perfectly just for it to peel up like latex paint!!! I cleaned and prepped the concrete, allowed it to dry. Used a pump sprayer to apply stain in circular motions, allowed it to dry. At this stage it looked gorgeous! I applied a neutralizer of 1 part ammonia to 10 parts water, waited 20 minutes, mopped with a synthetic mop head and flooded the floor until the water ran clean only for the stain to...

Very happy with the resul

I used this product about 7 years ago in my lanai. It worked great and looks beautiful. However it's now starting to peel a bit where water continually gets in the room. I want to repaint the floor with the same product, do I have to sand it all off or can I sand the peeling areas and then repaint the floor?
