What Customers Are Saying

The matte black vessel sink is praised for its sleek, modern design and high-quality construction. Customers highlight the beautiful matte finish that resists fingerprints and gives the sink a classy, elegant look. However, some note that the dark color can be difficult to keep spotless, as water spots and stains show up easily. A few also mention installation challenges, such as the sink being uneven or having sharp corners. Overall, the majority of customers are extremely satisfied with the product.

Beautiful, but Be Aware

The low number of stars are more related to Lowe's than the manufacturer. First off, Lowe's delivery dates are horribly off. Plan an extra week for delivery. This is a very nice sink, but the color is a little on the yellow side of white, not exactly cream, but not a bright white either. Most importantly for me is that the dimensions listed on the Lowe's website are not accurate, which is unacceptable for a product like this where they matter so much. The depth of the basin is only 3 1/8", ...

I was hesitant due to the price but it’s beyond the majority of brands. Just the presentation of the product is incredible, the quality fantastic. Can’t be more happy.

Uneven bottom - hard to place on a flat surface

I bought two Vigo sinks about eleven years ago. I love them - round copper color. I love this black rectangular sink, however I had to return it. The bottom is uneven so if my 6 yo granddaughter pulled it, the silicon/caulk could have broken loose. I don't think it is stable.

Noticeable pattern on sink.

Would Recommend

I did not realize there would be a "pattern". I expected more of a solid concrete appearance. It's very light, but it's definitely noticeable. Also, mine had a small chip on one side - we were able to face it to the back so you won't see it, but disappointing to receive it damaged.

Black is Beautiful

Would Recommend

We redid our powder room and wanted to go with a vessel sink along with new granite countertop and a new vanity. (Plumber installed). The black matte finish is so beautiful. It is a deep black and is the perfect focal point for the bathroom. We also bought a vigo faucet and they are perfect for one another. It does show spots, so you need to wipe out and keep clean, but so far we love it. (We're still looking for the right mirror).

Dont buy!!!

Would Not Recommend

Bought and had a plumber install only to find the faucet has a gold tone even though it's supposed to be brushed nickel. The drain plug was the correct color so they dont match. Ordered a second set and the same thing. Now trying to get one from the manufacturer that hopefully matches or I'll have to take the sink back out and pay the plumber again!

Love It!

Would Recommend

We ordered these vessels online based on photos. We were very pleased when they arrived as they were just what we wanted. The only downside is that having black vessels is like owning a black car. Very beautiful when spotless but somewhat difficult to keep spotless. I wish they were taller than 4 1/2 inches and a little wider.

This is a beautiful sink, but when it was delivered we immediately saw that the corners are so sharp they would be a safety hazard. We returned the sink and got an oval model.
