This VELUX VCM operable "Fresh Air" Skylight with the "Go Solar" option includes a pre-installed solar powered light filtering blind and an internet gateway, allowing you to control the blind with your smartphone. The solar powered blind is designed to harness the power of the sun to control the amount of daylight entering through your skylight. This model can be opened to create a chimney effect, drawing air upward to improve air quality within your home. The single-pleated, light filtering blind is designed to allow soft, diffused light to enter the room and reduce glare, making it ideal for kitchens and bathrooms. VCM skylights are ideal for replacing existing curb mount skylights, including old plastic bubble skylights. They can be installed on a flat roof at 0° up to a 60° roof pitch on a site-built curb.
