What Customers Are Saying
The oil-filled heater has mixed performance, with some finding it effective at heating small to medium rooms, while others reported it struggled to adequately warm even small spaces. There were concerns about durability, with issues like malfunctioning controls, leaks, and a wobbly caster bar. While some appreciated the reasonable price, quiet operation, and effectiveness on low settings, the overall consensus is that it is not a reliable or high-performing option.

Really liked the heat source but stopped working after 1 winter's use (which was only occasionally). Thought these were noted for long life.

Slow even heat
If you want quick warm up...this is not the one for you. It takes several hours to heat a large room. It's great for keeping a room warm but not good for a quick warm-up!
Not much
Does not really heat up much of anything. Waste of money.

Excellent clean heat without any hassle or smell.
This is the easiest heating unit and an excellent price. I have two units and have had them for several years without any problems. They plug in and warm up quickly, without any blowing or smell. The rollers make it easy to move the units from room to room. My cats enjoy laying beside it and I enjoy the extra warmth it provides when the house is difficult to heat with my standard electric floor heaters. I have one upstairs and one downstairs, and it makes my house so cozy and very easy to re...
EXCELLENT HEATER if can find the perishable parts!
I purchased the Utilitech Model #D-7-H Oil-filled radiant heater from Lowes, at Hunters Crossing, Alcoa, TN NOVEMBER 2016. October 2017 I put it back in use. Worked well until November 10 2017. The On/Off three position switch burned out. I have not been able to find a replacement switch in Lowes. The sales rep suggested I go to LOWES.COM that surly it would be available. I HAVE NOT FOUND IT. So I will bypass the switch and straight wire it. The heater is to perfect to trash, over a fried swi...
but with caution
I've had mine for a few years now and it works great.... but I just caught it trying to burn down my apartment.... again. the first time I blamed the old worn out outlet it was plugged into... not the case this time
Great Heaters for the Money!
We love these heaters. We purchased 2 to replace 2 of 5 Delonghi heaters we had that lasted for 7 years. The other 3 Delonghi heaters are STILL working. But they are more expensive now. We were looking for a great value and decided to give Utilitech a try since the design of the heaters are similar to Delonghi. We like the simplicity in the design and they function perfectly! Last week we had a couple of cold nights and they worked great. Easy to operate, adjust and we like the wide wheel base w...

But this product assembled it plugged in and found out that it doesn't work. Return the product to the store immediately. Would not recommend! It's worthless.
