The ETS PV990 Series ( PV995) SDI Splitter is a passive, versatile and easy-to-use video splitter designed for studios and on-location productions, as well as live performance venues. The HD-SDI Splitter can be used for monitoring ina wide variety of installations and locations. The PV990 Series SDI Splitter supports all standard serial digital video data rates up to 3Gbps and is designed to split a SMPTE video signal into two full-quality broadcast video signals and send them to video monitors or other digital devices over RG6 or RG59U coax cable. Distance varies depending on the type of cable, source and display equipment used in the system. Terminating any unused port with a 75 ohm terminator is recommended in order to achieve the specified performance. ETS also offers a 2 RU high panel ( ETS - PV993) which allows up to 16 splitters to be installed.
