All our 12V LED drivers are energy-efficient, eco-friendly, and safe, and produce very little heat. If you're working with a permanent home installation, its vital to use a Power Driver as it provides an even, stable current. It is a hard wired power source and its typically placed in a wall or ceiling, in the attic or under the house, but is also compact enough to tuck into a corner. In addition, this driver, along with our 35 and 60 Watt Hard-Wired Drivers, has an IP rating of IP67 which means it's wet location rated. So think about using this waterproof driver outdoors also, whether in a garden or landscaping; near the pool, pool house, hot tub or a water feature; in a greenhouse; or anywhere your lighting setup will be exposed to moisture and the elements. Our 12V Drivers are compatible with electrical systems from 100V to 240V AC, with frequencies of both 60 Hz (North and Central America) and 50 Hz (the rest of the world). Hard-Wired Non-Dimmable Drivers should be hard-wired to household AC power by a licensed electrician. Any of our dimmable light fixtures, powered by a hard-wired driver, can be dimmed using the REIGN 12V Dimmer Switch or the Inline Dimmer Switch.
