What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the cellulose insulation for being non-itchy, affordable—roughly one-third the price of fiberglass—and highly effective at improving home warmth and reducing energy bills. Reviewers highlight its ability to fill gaps and conform to irregular spaces, making it ideal for retrofitting. Installation with a functioning blower is described as straightforward and efficient. However, the process generates excessive dust requiring a respirator and eye protection, and many report frustrations with poorly maintained or unavailable rental machines. Despite these drawbacks, most customers consider the product itself an excellent value.
Customer review summary generated by AI, including incentivized reviews. It worked as intended. First time installing it and it went well. You need to use a respirator and a tyvek suit

Great Results!
I bought this product for my garage ceiling. Bought it for thermal insulating quality and for sound insulating quality. And in both it came through with flying colors. And the price was very reasonable. Easy installation with the loaner machine. And i appreciate the fire retardant feature. However the pricing was a bit deceptive when in the description it says one bale covers 47 square ft at R-60. Its more like 47 square feet at R-13. You have to dig into the details to accurately figure ...

Blow in insullation.
When i purchased this you got to use the blowing hopper with the purchase of 20 bags of installation. 20 bags covers alot. But if your thinking of doing this yourself i would advise get a second person to feed the hopper. If not your going to be doing alot of up and down a ladder. The insulation clogs up in the hopper and has to be constantly shoved down. Wear a mask. Horrible job but i got it done. I will never do this again in a small attic space where you have to crawl on your knees and bell...

Very dusty, and took a LONG time!
The material itself was fine. The installation was another story. I have a very low crawl space in my attic, so I knew I already had that obstacle in my way. One thing I did not anticipate, even though I have read the other reviews, was how much dust this actually puts out! As soon as you start spraying, you can no longer see what you are doing. The mask helped, but it was still horrible. The other big issue was how long this takes. I don't know if it is the material, or if I had a bad blower f...

We rented the blower to install the insulation and it was terrible. Broke clogged first bag.

Easy, affordable option for any DIY
After getting several quotes for thousands of dollars I priced this product and decided to give a go. Great help from m the Pro desk and Fast/friendly delivery of material. Gotta pickup blower yourself but rental is free with large enough purchase. Great value with a little bit of DIY effort. Pro tip…working area around blower machine gets super dusty!
