Looks great. Works poorly

This refrigerator looks cool but doesn't perform well at all. It was cheaply made. Top door to the main unit will not stay closed and we had it professionally installed. A drawer in the freezer broke due to cheap plastic parts and Unique has for months failed to replace it. Very poor (as in nearly no) customer service and no way to contact Unique directly in the US.

Don’t buy!

Had this refrigerator for 11 months and the refrigerator part stopped working the freezer continued to work for a few days but then eventually wouldn’t keep things as frozen either. I unplugged for 24 hours. Let everything defrost when I plugged it back in it would work for maybe five hours and then do the same thing again. I’ve had to throw out so much food. On top of all of this it took me about a month to finally get in touch with somebody and let them know that I am beyond a service repair. ...

Just for looks, not durable

We fell in love with this fridge because we have a 1945 stove. It matched it perfectly. Unfortunately 1.5 years later, it gave out. Stopped cooling in the fridge. Called out repairs 4 times and each time only worked for 8-10 hours and then down again. We are a small family not sure how to measure wear and tear. But definitely not a long lasting model.

Stopped Working

Unfortunately, like many of the other reviews, it has stopped working. Ours lasted 2yrs4months before the fridge portion stopped keeping cool. After attempting several trouble shooting tasks, I do believe its the defrost system that is failing. Freezer part works but evaporator coils freeze over, causing a blockage of airflow. I could get it to work again after manually defrosting but it happens again a week later. I did reach out to Unique Appliances as they instruct in all their review replies...

Second year it still works but handle screws bad

I got this as a Christmas present in 2023 from Lowe's. It looks great and the design is very functional and practical. I love it. So far, it hasn't broken down. But, when I purchased it, I was unable to register it or even get a reply from the company about the freezer handle being loose from day one. They clearly have a problem with this handle, as other reviewers have noticed, and the company never cared enough to respond. For that reason, I have held off buying any more of their appliances. So many issues ...

This is a really nice looking refrigerator. I like the overall design. I am on number 3 however. The first came with a paint blemish, returned. The second, a scratch likely from delivery team, and the third makes sounds like a squeaky old door, see clip/link. Also, a problem with it freezing food in fridge part though set at 37F. Exactly as I had envisioned, but better! Well made, and so much attention to detail. Will be buying a dishwasher, range and range hood next. Love the Turquoise.

Beautiful but AWFUL

I received this fridge March 2023, first the ice maker broke then the refrigerator died around Christmas. It took Unique Aplliances 2 months to get service for me, so it wasn’t repaired till February 2024. Came home from vacation at the end of May 2024 and the refrigerator is not cooling AGAIN end the ice maker is broken AGAIN. Now I’m waiting for Lowe’s to honor the extended service contract. It’s been over 24 hours and I’ve heard nothing. My fridge is a lemon and I want it replaced!
