What Customers Are Saying
The mower has good cutting power, a tight turning radius, and reasonable fuel efficiency. However, some users have experienced issues with the engine, transmission, and safety features, such as the mower stalling in reverse, a jumpy clutch, and difficulty adjusting the seat. Overall, the mower seems to be a good value for the price, especially for those with limited space, but may require some minor adjustments or repairs to operate at its best.

I have used this mower about 6 times. Does mow ok, not great. Sometimes when in 1 or 2 speed it may move, but don't bet on it moving. Twice I wanted to put it in highest cutting position, but could not get to that position. Good seat, nice size tires. could mulch better. I had a Toro- Wheelhorse 8 hp- 25" cut. which was very good. Try to compare the two would show that the Troy-bilt is made very cheap and I don't think it is going to be very durable. thank you

Nice riding mower.
Bought this to replace my 20 year old John Deere riding mower. So far I am quite pleased with the Troy-Bilt riding mower. I have approximately 1/3 acre yard. Too small for a 42 inch deck. I find the 30 inch deck is perfect for my needs. Starts quickly with a turn of the key. Cuts well. Comfortable to ride. Love the seat. Safety features were a little tough to get used to, but I adapted quickly and find them to be useful. All in all I find the Troy-Bilt riding mower to be more than I had hoped fo...

Works great but.....
We enjoy the overall performance in all areas but two. The gear shift knob is always coming off since purchase, I had to improvise so it would stay on. Also when you release clutch it jerks but I can live with that. You definitely need to improve shift knob attachment.

TR30 Review
Great small lawnmower that performs very well. I use the mulch setting and there is never a trace of cut grass. There is minimal visibility of tire tracks on the grass when I mow.

Glad I bought a Troy-Bilt
I did extensive research for a well built, highly recommended, reasonably priced riding mower and everything pointed to the Troy-Bilt TB30 for me. My yard is about half an acre and fairly flat with a few trees and fence lines. I steered away from the tractor type with a large cutting deck one, because I didn't need it and two, have no space to store it. The TB30 is just right. It starts and runs great, does an awesome mowing job and maneuvers very good. Best of all the mower takes up little gara...

Twice Failed
I purchased the Troy Bilt tb30r at our local Orscheln Store. Unfortunately I was not able to get the mower to run. I am going to assume the failure on this unit was caused by the store leaving gasoline in the mower and not running it on a regular basis. The mower started twice for me, only to puff out smoke and raw fuel out exhaust. I returned the mower to the store I had gotten from and they were unable to start it either. There was another tb30r mower at the store, so the manager traded them f...

Love the Mower
I purchased this riding mower several months ago and cannot sing its praises highly enough! I love the ease with which I can operate this machine, and I love the beauty with which it makes the lawn appear after cutting. I highly recommend it to anyone considering a riding lawn mower!!!

Great little mower
I've had this mower for three months and it works great. A little hard shifting gears, but overall it gets the job done. Cut my mowing time in half, and don't even break a sweat.
