Simply no Way it can work

The grab bar is great. We are using it as a double towel rack that could withstand someone holding on to it for stability. However, the simple, little plastic plugs provided to attach to the sheet rock could never hold up to being us to keep someone from falling. You MUST buy 6 actual wall anchors!

Beautiful and functional

Beautiful safety addition. Also put a matching 32" bar horizontally on shower wall. They don't look institutional at all. (Had them installed by skilled contractors.)

When my husband became disabled, I dreaded having to add ugly grab bars to the bathroom we so lovingly renovated just 3 years ago. So I looked for some that were attractive, matched our existing hardware, rated to support as much weight as possible, and (for the longer bar) was a multiple of 16", so it could be installed directly into the wall studs. Just had them installed and love the look. Not at all institutional. The one in the shower looks like a towel bar, not a grab bar

Wonderful Safety Bar

I absolutely love this safety bar -- so much so I bought one for the shower and another for a "towel" bar so they match. Your bathroom can be safe but it doesn't have to look like you're old !
