The unit works fine for smaller trailers, but the traction is lacking. It says that it’s rated for 5000 lbs but it truly isn’t. My boat and trailer is 4700 lbs and ti doesn’t move it well enough. The quality of the refurbished unit looks brand new.

This is one of the best tools I own. I have limited access to my back yard and this let's me just pull in, un hook, and put my trailer anywhere I want it. I've even used it to improve security on my trailer when I've had to leave it overnight. I just put the tongue right up against a tree or wall and there is no way someone is going to get a vehicle close enough to tow it away.

Been using for almost 2 years
Ok, I held off writing a review on this because I wanted to really out it through the test. I live in a suburb. My gate 10' wide. I have a trailer just over 8' in width. It is a tight squeeze. I also have a 15inch overhang that my trailer is as tall as. This leaves me with about 6” total to get my trailer in the gate!!! The street in front of my house is tiny but busy, so I do not like leaving my TR hooked up while finding the sweet spot. My trailer weighs in at 4500lbs with two axe...

Save your money
Save your money. This would not move my 21' Tahoe deck boat. Tires just spun on the driveway. Even had my wife stand on the trailer tongue to add weight. Still won't work. Very disappointed. My wife bought it as a gift for me after speaking with the company techs who assured her that it would work fine for our boat. Nope.
