Bought the Trailer Valet 5x
Bought the Trailer Valet 5x and have used it for my 17 ft travel trailer and purchased an extra mount for my cargo trailer. This is a game changing idea for positioning trailers. It is super easy to use and is fantastic for hitching. So much simpler to drive the trailer to the hitch rather than endlessly positioning and repositioning the tow vehicle. It is very easy to move the trailer into tight spots even when I was in a wheel chair with a broken leg. The 5x will easily move the trailer up/dow...

Good product but if their
Good product but if their specs for max size on the tongue were accurate I wouldn't have needed to buy this. Or replace the bolts because they didn't fit as advertised either. But after all that is a pretty good product!

Great products
So far they work just fine, there is a slight incline on my driveway. I purchased another mounting bracket for my race trailer. My Trailer Valet works well on them both. I have attached a photo of each trailer I have

Not for marine use
After a year, the mounting bracket badly rusted. Now a few years later, it's a badly rusted eyesore oon my trailer. The powder coating is garbage. This part should have been galvanized.

Good design, could be imoroved
I purchased the Trailer Valet when it first came out. I installed it on my boat trailer and it’s been a godsend. We sold the boat/trailer and removed this bracket to install it on our new boat. I was surprised to see how badly it rusted even though I always washed the boat and trailer down with SaltAway each use. I’ll be replacing the bolts with stainless steel bolts and will try to remove the rust as best as possible and repaint the bracket. I highly recommend the company offer a bracket bett...

Rust
The trailer valet itself works great and has not rusted, but the valet is removed and stored in a garage before each trip. The bracket however, rusts away very quickly and needs a better coating or improved metals.

tRAILER vALET 5X Mounting brACKET
The steel is so cheap it just rusts away. It is crumbling. I need the trailer valet to get my boat into it's parking spot from the alley behind my house-a vehicle will not fit. The valet works great but the bracket is not made from the right type of steel. I'm afraid I'm going get stuck when it breaks so I'm looking for a replacement made of better steel. The "regular jack" right next to it on the trailer, which is the original from, 1997 is fine. The bracket does not generally get submerged and...

Great service - but the mount rusts away in less than a year. Had to replace it. I keep the valet in the garage, so it's just fine, but the trailer mount is poorly protected from deterioration.
