AVOID no matter the COST
Price was great and excitedly bought this for 4th of July bash. Quality Control on the unit received was awful. Holes don't line up + they aren't big enough for the cross bars and not enough thread through the holes to bite on the screw caps. The bottom rung broke after the first toss (defect in wood). Overall shoddy craftsmanship using poor quality wood, then wood filler, and then painted to make it look "good." It does NOT look good. Super disappointed in what I was hoping would last for many,...
Poor quality control brings disappointment
This product was bought with the intention of being used during our 4th of July bash. The product could not be assembled due to one of the rungs being too large and would not fit in the pre drilled holes and another rung had the threaded end cut short whereas you couldn't secure the rung. This left the toy unplayable. I would give zero stars if it were possible. Very disappointing product.

More sturdy than plastic sets, but…
I decided to buy this set after a crossbar on one of the stands and some of the bola strings on a previous plastic set broke. This wooden set looked more sturdy, and I was attracted by the idea of carrying case. While the wood is more sturdy than the old plastic one, the side pieces do not fit snugly in the base, causing the ladder side pieces to swing significantly, even with the hardware tightened fully.
