Cheaply made - no exploded view of head assembly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since my son live out of town, I got this as a belated Father's Day gift this past Sunday. I went to use it today. The chain was not getting lubricated, so I turned the screw on the bottom of the pole saw head according to the diagram on the side cover to increase the flow of oil. Great pole saw attachment
I'm using this Toro pole saw attachment with my Kobalt 40v Universal Connect power head. Works great and I love having all the weight towards the bottom of the tool unlike the models with motor up by the bar and chain! I went for this Toro model over others because the price is good and the metal bucking spikes + tensioning system seem very well built. If you want to extend your reach, I also picked up a (MTD/Troybilt/Craftsman/Dewalt) TrimmerPlus extension that fits perfect in between the saw ...
