Bought this saw from Lowes for storm damage clean up. The battery was dead right out of the box but I used it with another Toro battery I had because I needed the saw... I took the battery to an Authorized Toro Customer Service center vs Lowes for repair thinking it should be pretty straight forward getting it replaced considering it had just been purchased, registered, and with all the documentation. Cuts like butter, but assembly required
Overall, the finished product gets the job done and cuts like butter through the thickest of branches. However, upon delivery, it requires the customer to install the pole saw from scratch. Because I'm very busy in my job, this took me almost a week to get around to doing. But I feel like Toro does this to avoid any liability if somebody were to get injured and not be at fault - just a guess. Disappointed
Bought it to trim and cut hedges, chain kept coming off. Tried to return and they said NO. It was past 48 hrs. I explained i bought it then went on vacation and didn’t get to use until i returned. They were not sympathetic. Over the years i bought $1000’s of dollars worth of goods at Lowes, didn’t matter. I emailed customer service and no reply.
