We grill and use the smoker a lot in the warmer months and he usually has to keep a close eye on the thermometer we had before, as it had to stay at the grill. We tried this wireless one this weekend and it was great being able to just carry the indoor piece to monitor and set alarms!

I love that the alarm has a vibration mode. The remote range is phenomenal at 1000 feet. I can prep other foods and still be within range for the grill. I can even be at the neighbors.
