Outstanding Unit Design
Great meat thermometer, so easy to use, perfect readings BOH likes it for checking hot dogs on my street wagon. Easy to clean comes complete with easy to read instructions and batteries.
Budget friendly
I wouod consider this a good budget friendly cooking tool. I have other meat thermometers that seem better built and have more functions but for basic tasks this will work just fine. It doesnt open all the way when you push the release button but the temp seems pretty accurate.
Very Easy to Use
This TP18SW Digital Probe Meat Thermometer has some good features. First, there is the flip open/ flip closed probe. I have used other meat thermometers that have the probe with a slide off and on sheath. For one, you have to remember where you put the sheath down, and two, the inside of the sheath is a potential growth spot for bacteria or germs. Temperature Range
Appears to be a good sturdy thermometer that will work great for what it is designed for. My only issue is I was not able to find on the site what the temperature scale range is. After buying three of these I find the range will only go down to 14*F I need one that will read below that. I would not of bought if the information was available.
