These do work really well and the lights hold up in all weather. My only complaints are that they do leak if you store them for winter and i wish there was an option to have the bug repellant on with the light off.

Look and Work Great

I read the reviews and see many people reporting issues with leaks/pods evaporating in the sun or the effectiveness diminishing. I can report that I've not had any of these issues. We have the lights on our fence surrounding our concrete pool area (60ft x 72ft -a large area) for two consecutive years. good idea, bad design

nice lights but the oil in the pods leaked and one did not ever function correctly. Quite pricey if the lights are the only advantage here. Too pricey to purchase these refills, you need a better design, perhaps something that is actually refillable and you would sell this better. Unless you're just looking for a string of lights for your patio I would Not Recommend

No more mosquitos

Makes a big difference alone but packs a double punch w the tiki lamps too - pretty much as been a mosquito free zone on my Brooklyn, NY patio

Time for Tiki to fess up.

It’s time for Tiki to admit this is a flawed design. They work to repel mosquitoes but we’ve had some leaks and they sent us replacements which was very nice but doesn’t change the fact that they don’t perform as advertised. The pods exposed to sunlight evaporate quickly and even the ones in the shade don’t come close to working for 200 hours. We like the lights but in retrospect we wish we had bought a quality string of lights and augmented them with some of the highly effective, free standing ...

Not so great

I bought this last summer thinking it's better than torches everywhere. Nope. Maybe it held some biting bugs away, but many found me. The pods must have gold in them as the refills price is very expensive. As mentioned by others, they leak and evaporate. You can't get 200 hours out of them. When I'm not using my deck at darkness, I take the pods out very carefully and cap them. It helps a little but you can't get 200 hours use.

Works -but not for long

Works- but not for long. We had this system one season and they only worked well the first couple of times we used them. A couple of bulbs burnt out and the repellent only lasted a couple of weeks at best. What a waste!
