The TREXM Storage Bench brings together the charm of a classic furniture piece and the everyday practicality of a hardworking organizer, making it a welcome addition to an entryway, foyer, mudroom or laundry room. Its frame and legs are built from solid pine wood for firm, stable support, while the remaining panels are crafted from MDF boards and finished with a smooth painted surface, so the bench feels sturdy beneath you and looks tidy in any corner of the home. The seat and cabinet together hold up to 200 LBS and 50 LBS respectively, which means you can sit down comfortably while pulling on shoes instead of crouching on the floor. The removable velvet cushion, padded with foam and measuring 2.2 inches thick, adds softness to the top and can be lifted away whenever you prefer a flat surface for folded laundry or a decorative tray. Two enclosed cabinets and two drawers swallow the clutter that tends to gather near the door, offering room for books, shoes, umbrellas, bags and other small items, while the distressed aluminum drawer handles lend a subtle retro accent that warms up the look. With overall dimensions of 42.5 inches L x 15.9 inches W x 17.5 inches H, cabinet doors measuring 12.2 inches L x 11.6 inches H and drawer interiors of 11.8 inches L x 3.2 inches H x 11.8 inches D, the bench fits neatly along a wall without crowding the walkway. Assembly takes about 30 minutes, all necessary tools and an illustrated instruction manual are included, and the finished back allows the piece to sit away from the wall if you like. To keep it looking its best, blot spills right away with a damp cloth, avoid surface cleaners that could dull the painted finish, and check the hardware occasionally since fasteners may loosen over time and should not be over-tightened.
