More than just a reflective white coating, sun shield is a high-performance ceramic compound that blocks solar heat gain resulting from visual, ultraviolet, and infrared light, packaged in 5-gallon pails.
Designed for commercial and residential roofs, containers, transportation vehicles, refrigerated containers, trucks, trailers/motor homes and railroad cars
Acts as a water-tight barrier and offers sound dampening while used as a system over metal, concrete, modified bitumen, rubber, masonry and wood to stop heat gain, moisture penetration and corrosion development, and is a green coating.
Shatters high air conditioning/cooling cost when applied to all roofs and/or exterior walls and can be applied to asphalt shingles (with super base as a primer), metal, masonry, wood, tar, concrete, aged foam, fiberglass, energy star and USDA approved.

Excellent product! It has a higher price tag than the competition, but you can get away with one coat versus 2 or more with other brands. The only complaint I have is the turn around time to receive the product from the manufacturer. Each time I've orderd this product, it has taken a month or more for the product to be shipped. Other than that issue, I would highly recommend this product.
So Cool
The product was too thick to effectively spray through a graco spray rig. Once we rolled it on, the temperature on my metal roof went from 130 down to 90 degrees. We live in Central Texas and this is a must have for anyone with galvanized roof. It was a little more expensive that the other brands but seems to be worth it.
Blocking the Sun
This white whipped paint is very thick and difficult to spread until you get used to doing it. I have not used anything this thick except maybe a roofing cement. However, when I figured how to apply, it was much more controllable. Used a brush for niches and small hard roller for most flat surface on garage door. It performs in heat of AZ pretty well. I have only done one of two doors so am still comparing IR temps on surfaces inside and out. So far differences: outside 165-171 avg regular pain...
