It is a very nice little tiller. I got 3 years worth or work out of it. The seals in the gearbox wore out because there were some weeds that wrapped around the axles. This happens a lot with tillers and is a pretty common problem with most seals around rotating shafts. I now have a pretty good gearbox oil leak and need to replace the seals. Piece of plastic crap

Just picked up and opened box. Top plastic part cracked. Called to get replacement part. They cant send that.waited week and 1/2 for it to come in. Drove 45 min to pick up. Now have to drive back and return. Junk!!!!!!

It really chewed up the ground

It's not difficult to assemble though I wish the bolts to the knobs that allow the handle to fold down were longer. I wouldn't have to be so careful when loosening the knobs so they wouldn't fall off.

One time use

Used it for the first time today only got through a 60'x15' section of our garden, hit a few rocks and the shaft snapped tillers fell right off.

Didn’t Last

Worked great first 2 seasons. Used it for small garden spot. This year after a few minutes it quit working. Customer service was no help and would not back up the product. After some testing we figured out it was the gear box. Over the 3 seasons it was only used about 9 hours. Replacement parts not available as product is made in China.

I've been using my Sun Joe tiller for 3 years and it's bullet proof.

Does the job

picked up in Sept 2022.Have used it on my raised bed veg garden and chewed up some lawn area for a flower bed. Works pretty good. Only drawback is, when using, the shape of the blades and the rotation speed spill soil outside the bed. Also, works best if you work backwards and draw it towards you. Not bad for a small machine.

What a little power house and work horse! As a female, it felt like it was going to rip my arms off, which once I figured out how to handle it, it worked out okay. I would like information in the owner's manual about replacement part numbers, so I know exactly which parts to order. The first use, yesterday, bent a blade on a big rock that was buried under ground. I couldn't see it. I just moved from the south where soil is sandy to the north where it's red clay and rocky.
