Apply wood sealer to the top, bottom, and all edges of raw wood within 48 hours of removing from packaging – if you're not ready to seal, rewrap the wood in plastic to protect it until application

Nice quality and decent price
The butcher block was very nice quality and I think a decent value for the price. Bought the desktop (30") size for a counter over washer and dryer. Coated it with polyurethane to protect it and it looks great.

Inaccurate product title
I ordered the 6-ft x 30-in x 1.5-in unfinished version, and received the honey stained one. For my purposes this was fine; I just sanded the stain off before sealing. The plastic wrap had a 4 inch wide hole in it, and that may be the reason why the board had a slight crack in it. If the crack doesn't worsen I'm also OK with that, but beware of these things and inspect the packaging and product inside the box ASAP if you order this item.

Quality product with good shipping/packaging
Item was packaged well and was received with no damage. Overall wood was sanded very well. Received with no cracks or bad spots other than one little small glue spot. The only negative I have was some parts of the countertop didn't not want to take stain or poly very well. Have never worked with this type of wood before so don't know if that is typical or not.

Solid wood and as shown. Only issue is upon taking home it had some dents and scratches I just used that side as the bottom. Could be packaged better and handled better.
