The sign makes a nice addition to say a quick or welcoming message. It gives the option of plug in functionality but you will need either an adapter or usb connection. I DON'T like customer service by the manufacturer. Before they know your concern, they want your information - name, number, email, mailing address. Worse - after selecting English, the representative spoke in a manner that was indecipherable and he didn't understand that which I said to him. Very frustrating.

I thought it was amazing until it was not. The cord or ends are not built to last. One night it was working but the next no it was not

Poor quality but affordable
Poor quality but it was only $10 which is cheaper than most places. The letters fall right out and the back piece to store the letters arrived broken, unable to open. The light is not as bright when you use batteries, but it’s very bright when plugged in. Did the job for the event I needed but very flimsy and would recommend paying a little more for better quality.
