What Customers Are Saying
The grass seed was generally effective in growing thick, green grass, with many customers noting the seed germinated quickly and helped fill in bare or patchy areas. The large bag size was praised for covering a wide area and providing good value. However, some customers experienced issues with the seed not germinating or growing in a patchy manner, particularly in heavy clay soil. While the majority of customers were satisfied with the product's performance, following the instructions closely, especially regarding watering, was key to achieving the best results.

The early fall months in South Florida are sunny with afternoon rain shower. I have a few brown patches in lawn. I raked areas, put down fresh premium soil, spread Stagreen grass seed, and watered. Over the last 2 months I have repeated this routine, more soil, raking, watering. The lawns gets good sun, afternoon downpours, plus sprinklers. The seeds never germinated, no new grass; none. So disappointed!
Easy to use seed and fertilizer combo
I love that this was a seed and fertilizer combo. It helped the grass grow really fresh and lush very quickly. The seeds were delivered right to my door and was easy to plant and cultivate to help my lawn better.
Nice & Easy
This grass is very good. It sprouted pretty quick too. I had some patches in my yard from my dogs so this was perfect for that if you look closely and see the difference in the grass but pretty straight forward to use. I highly recommend this product, easy if use and how quick it grew was nice.
Easy to spread
Added this to my lawn. It was fairly easy to do. I can see it is starting to work as my grass looks thicker. We have had alot of rain so this has helped to keep it hydrated.
Great seed.
Looks like it’s working in some areas. Unfortunately with a hill it’s hard to say how well the seed stayed. I’ll throw more down soon and see what happens. Would definitely buy it again as I can tell it will look great after some time!
Mix with soil and keep it wet before spreading it
Is easy for seeds to germinate, and covers patches nicely.
Quick sprouts!
I started my seeding a little late, but I've already got some awesome coverage starting up. I have a heavy traffic area that looks like it needs more love, but nothing another round of seed won't fix!
Full coverage in two weeks
I've always had trouble getting bermuda to grow. The secret I found is to mix with sane and potting soil (not mix). Make sure to spread no thinner than 1-2 inches. Then, cover with a layer of potting soil and water 2x per day. The peet in the cover soild will get dry when water is needed.
Worked Well
Overall a good product. My husband used it primarily to patch this season. It sprouted within 3-4 days, but he watered pretty heavily in the areas. Next time he plans to seed the full lawn with extra fertilizing soil to help keep the area watered. Would recommend, just make sure to water appropriately, should be good if you follow directions for your region.
